No known super villain has ever risen against any super heroes, for villains are made to fall against a superhero. We all expected that Whiplash (Mickey Rourke) in the end will fall against our super fire power hero – Iron Man. When it comes to falling, Mickey Rourke is no stranger to it. The actor’s real life is made of crumbling experiences, from his failed marriages, movie collapses and deaths of one of his dogs whom he called love of my life. But man, he always stands from the fall and mistakes. So the movie villain actor came to rise from the ashes of fall. He came back to God and is practicing being a Roman Catholic. He won a 2009 Golden Globe award and a BAFTA award, and was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award and an Academy Award for his work in the film The Wrestler. His numerous TV and print interviews is evident that he has come back, and attributed it to weekly meetings with a psychiatrist, Steve, and to a Catholic priest identified as Father Pete. It’s like being a villain in the beginning, and a superhero in the end. What a story to learn!
